What’s Going Into Your Mind, And Why It’s So Important To Your Photography Success!

brain.fitnessOne of my favorite sayings is “you are where you are because of what has gone into your mind. “. The late great Zig Ziglar said this many years ago and this fact has profoundly affected my life.

I was just reading in my PTS time this morning one of my all-time favorite books “Napoleon Hill’s A Year Of Growing Rich. “  In chapter one he says “The person who acts with purpose and a plan attracts opportunities.  How can life give you anything if you don’t know what you want yourself?  How can others help you to succeed if you haven’t decided how to get there yourself? Only with definiteness of purpose will you be able to overcome the defeats and adversities that will stand in your way. ”

Can you see how reading things like this every single morning – putting concepts like this in your mind every day,  before you start your daily routine and work, will have a profound effect on your thoughts, actions and success?

As the first hour of your day goes, so goes your day.  If your day starts with you getting up late, being in a terrific hurry, being upset, grabbing a quick cup of coffee as you start the day already being behind, then it makes perfect sense that your entire day is very likely going to go that way.

Think carefully about this. You are the architect of your life. No one else has the power of determining where your life goes as much as you.

You are where you are because of what is going into your mind, and you can change where you are, by changing what goes into your mind. Start today to make sure that each morning begins with you putting good, positive, encouraging, inspirational thoughts and ideas into your mind.

This means no television, no radio, no newspaper, no online news sites.

Start with this blog. Use the search engine on this blog to search for posts containing keywords that you’re most interested in, such as marketing, pricing selling, merchandising, motivation and goal setting, etc.

Plus, for sure, join the Charles Lewis Inner Circle.  This will give you access to an amazing Online Vault full of specific details, actions, techniques, templates and tools you can easily use to build the photography business of your dreams, and do it quickly and without losing your family while you’re at it!

You have all the power to build the success you desire and deserve. But you need to take action – now – and the first action you take needs to  be controlling very carefully what goes into your mind.

This reminds me of one my favorite quotes it is by Oliver Wendell Holmes he said “indecision mars all success: there is no good wind for a sailor who doesn’t know to which port is bound.”

Thanks Kate – I appreciate that very much. The bottom line is if we don’t take charge of our attitude and our life, someone else will!
